As Facility Manager of Quezon Power (Philippines), Limited Co., Mr. Tim Davis is responsible for the management of 172 operating, maintenance, accounting, HR, purchasing, warehouse, and administrative personnel in the company’s pulverized coal-fired unit in Mauban, Quezon.
Mr. Davis has more than 40 years of experience handling plant management-related assignments for power generating facilities both in the United States and abroad.
In particular, he has been engaged in the budgeting, scheduling, commissioning, and management of contracts of numerous facilities. He also has hands-on experience in the operation, startup, and constructions of large power generating stations utilizing coal, waste, gas, and oil as fuel.
Prior to his current position, Mr. Davis served as Plant Manager of the Quezon Power Plant.
He has also held leadership positions in Covanta Philippines Operating, Inc.; Covanta Energy; Ogden Projects, Inc.; Bechtel Power Corporation; and Stone & Webster Engineering Corporation, among others.
He holds degrees from the University of Phoenix, University of Tennessee, and Middle Tennessee State University. He is also a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
